Tech Talk

My Technology (adding more soon)

TV: Vizio
Bought a new 55" Vizio 120Hz LCD  TV  http://vizio.com/  for the house.  Picked it up from Costco http://costco.com/ for $1499.  Great  HD picture above my fireplace.  My brother helped me mount it and run HDMI, Componenent, and speaker wire through the wall into the attic for some incredible surround sound.  We picked up extra cable from http://altex.com/ .

Computer: HP
I also bought an HP G70 17" laptop T6500 with Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU 2.1 GHz Processor speed and 4.0 MB Memory.  http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/store_access.do?template_type=landing&landing=notebooks Used the manufacturers coupon and got it at Costco for $649  http://costco.com/ .  So far, its been a reliable computer.
First software purchases after I got FREE 30 day Trials were
Norton360Antivirus: http://shop.symantecstore.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServletAction=DisplayProductSearchResultsPage&SiteID=symnahho&categoryID=2219900&Locale=en_US&ThemeID=106300&keywords=downloads&resid=S5lMEQoBAkYAAERvLYsAAAAB&rests=1268337680635
and Microsoft Home/Student Office 2007: http://store.microsoft.com/home.aspx
Now I'm thinking about getting Adobe Acrobat Pro: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/

Phone: IPhone
Just got the new IPhone 16Gig 3GS at the AT&T Store $199.  Ranee got a refurbished one online for $149, both with a new 2 year plan.  Check here for refubished IPhones that are less expensive  http://www.att.com/wireless/iphone/ .  Juan really helped me out at the 121 & Preston location:  8700 N Preston Rd 117 Plano, TX 75024.  He explained how to use it and answered all of my questions.  I even got an extended warranty $70 and a Mophie Juice Pack Case $79 to recharge the phone on the go and protect it too:  http://mophie.com/ .
I've been downloading lots of apps: (give me feedback and suggestions for more)
